With its variety of performance spaces, meeting rooms, beautiful lobby and gallery spaces, as well as FREE underground parking, the Living Arts Centre is an ideal facility to host ONTARIO CONTACT 07.  It’s also literally across the street from Ontario’s largest shopping mall complex (Square One) and is just 20 minutes west from downtown Toronto.

The Living Arts Centre (LAC) opened in 1997 and is a 225,000 square foot resource of multiple performance venues, seven arts/crafts studios, an exhibition display space and meeting/conference rooms. The two main performing arts venues, Hammerson Hall and the Royal Bank Theatre, are the site for a range of arts, cultural and entertainment events. The LAC is also a major performance outlet for dozens of cultural groups including LAC resident tenants, The Mississauga Choral Society, and The Mississauga Symphony Orchestra. The Centre’s studios feature dozens of recreational classes for all ages and are the home of professional Resident Artists. Their work can be displayed in the Laidlaw Hall, which features constantly changing art exhibitions. The meeting and conference rooms are utilised by many community organizations and businesses for a variety of events, from luncheon meetings to international video conferences. The goal of the Centre is to enable the community to experience, learn, and enjoy the performing, visual and digital arts in an environment rich in expertise and technology.

Located on the ground floor of the LAC adjacent to the elevators, Live Cuisine offers diners an enjoyable experience with an exquisite taste of the arts. Live`s main rotund dining area is surrounded by full-length windows, allowing natural light to fill the dining room during the weekday lunch buffet. By night, warm neutral colours and beautiful, dark wooden walls create an intimate setting for pre-theatre dining.
